Certification schemes
Schemes applied depending on the product type and form of supply.
The certification scheme is selected based on product characteristics, production volume and supply conditions. The most commonly applied schemes are listed below.
Batch certification
A specific batch of products is tested and a certificate is issued for that batch.
Serial production
A certificate for serial production is issued based on sample testing and production assessment, with periodic surveillance.
Per-item certificate
For single or unique items, each item is tested individually.
